Hi all, as those of you know I am the owner of Scarlett a 2001 MGF in Solar Red , owned her for the last 15 mths , didnt get off to the best start with her as HGF 3 days after buying her , but it happens . she has upgraded seats and electric mirrors , just had nice new chrome grills fitted all round ( thanks to Gee and Stephen for fitting them ) . I took her on her longest journey in April just gone to POL and have to say she did me proud 847 miles round trip .

She's a good wee car, Doesn't like me but she's done the group proud over the last few months :D

2001 Solar Red, mechanically standard apart from a MGOC Supersports back box. On 16 inch square spokes. DRLs in front bumper, MGFMania 2 part hood with glass rear window. S/S under floor pipes, B&G coolant alarm, MLS HG
I also have a 2001 Solar Red MGF (best colour). Over the last 3 years or so I've recovered the driver's seat (just plain old Mirage cloth not like Suzi's smart red & black leather), fiited a new hood complete with glass HRW, fitted a B&G coolant alarm, fitted DRLs, fitted a Mike Satur wiper linkage, replaced the bonnet release after it failed, replaced the headlights, replaced a rear light unit and replaced the passengers central locking unit and probably a few other jobs that I've forgotten. If anyone would like advice on any of the above please ask - I've had to learn as I go along.
