Just joined as RichardJ having met Suzi when the MGLeg4Leg passed through Inverness on Sunday. I've owned my MGF 1.8i for a bit over 3 years and try to do most of the work on the car myself although I don't have a workshop - or even a walkaround garage - so some stuff does go to Bitz in Nairn where they can do anything apart from body work.

I'm a member of the MGOC & Highland MGOC which is a friendly bunch and happy to see 'modern' MGs take part in the club activities.

I stay on the Black Isle just north of Inverness.

Suzi,

Thanks for the welcome and very well done fund raising for the MGLeg4Leg.

The Highland MGOC supports a couple of car shows each year (recently the Vintage Day at the Highland Folk Museum & the Tain Show) and 4 Sunday lunch time runs each season based on North, South, East & West of Inverness (a lunch location is booked and members either RV there or arrange for a drive in company to lunch). We also have an Autumn Amble (this weekend coming - 2 nights in Banchory, a visit to the Grampian Transport Museum) and next May we are planning to drive the North Coast 500 (6 cars committed at present) in about the same time as the MGLeg4Leg did LeJoG!

Maybe we could have a stand together next year at one of the shows?
